Pat the Animals at Collingwood Children's Farm

The Collingwood Children's Farm is ideally nestled of the banks of the Yarra River just 5 kilometres from the Melbourne city centre. This not-for-profit community farm provides a great way for the kids to get in touch with life on the farm. It includes everything from tractor rides and patting the farm animals right through to hands on experience like helping to milk a cow. The Collingwood Children's Farm is open every day from 9am to 5pm and the price for admission is only $4 for kids and $8 for adults.

We have 2 kids aged 4 and 6 years old and they absolutely loved the Children's Farm. They especially liked being able to pat the farm animals, watching the cows get milked and going on the tractor ride. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone with young kids.
