Visit the Fannie Bay Gaol

Fannie Bay Gaol was used as a prison from 1883 right through to 1974 and the site has a rich social connection with the region. The first Aboriginal drawings to be shown to the world came from the Fannie Bay Gaol and the life stories of the inmates of this important heritage site provide an interesting insight into what life must have been like back then.
