Visit Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary

The Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley, just an hour's drive East of Melbourne. This zoo is set in a natural bushland environment and features lots of different native animals including wallabies, wombats, kangaroos, dingoes and over 200 varieties of Australian birds. Some of the other amazing things to see at this zoo include the Bird of Prey presentation and the unique Platypus exhibit, where you can view these nocturnal water mammals in their natural habitat.
