Visit the Old Windmill Observatory

If you are staying in the city and feeling energetic then take a walk up to the Old Windmill Observatory which is at the top of Wickham Terrace. Built in 1828 it is one of the oldest buildings in Brisbane and was originally used for grinding corn but was later converted into a fire observation tower for the city. The Old Windmill Observatory is located in Wickham Park, which is east of the Roma St Station.
