Further afield you will find 4 top class golf courses, the new Munda Biddi Cycle Trail, the Ramsar-listed wetland Lake Clifton, the Marapana Wildlife Park, Peel Zoo, Abingdon Minature Village and the Yalgorup National Park. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy their holiday in Mandurah because there is not only plenty of stunning waterways in which to wet your line or catch blue swimmer crabs but also recreational fishing charters that can take you out game fishing in the Indian Ocean.

How To Get There :      In order to drive the 80 kilometres from Mandurah to Perth you simply take the Kwinana Freeway all the way to the edge of town and then take the Mandjoogoordap Drive exit into the town centre. You are also able to catch a Transwa bus which operates on a regular basis from the East Perth bus terminal to Mandurah. If you have access to a large boat or yacht then you may also want to sail down from Perth to Mandurah, as there is ample space to enjoy your vessel in Peel Inlet and the surrounding waterways.

Weather :      The coastal holiday region of Mandurah has 2 relatively distinct seasons. During the months of May and September there is on average 15-17 rainy days each month, significantly more rainfall than the rest of the year and average maximum daily temperatures ranging from 18-21°C. From October through to April the rain is pretty much non existent and the average maximum daily temperature warms up to 31°C in January and February (and these months include many days where the temperature is well above 40°C).
